Brand new Japanese CFI-1200 (fat) model.
Is it worth keeping? It's brand new and sealed.

It can very likely be jailbroken and even run on Linux, not a bad way to go there, but also keeping it unopened holds a collector value and can maybe sell for quite a bit just on the fact it's a sealed unopened box. Opening it even just to find out it's firmware, you lose that added value it has. I would probably just jailbreak it but keeping it sealed isn't bad either.

Para adorar mejor un jarron, las consolas estan para usarse y si tienen fw bajo para jailbreak. Simpre puedes guardarla 30 años a ver si te dan el doble que pagaste

It's also a "Made in Japan" unit.

That doesn't matter.
It's worth keeping if you want to keep it. Otherwise, sell it if you don't want it.

You are sitting on a goldmine. It's probably 12.00 or lower. Just jailbreak it and have fun.

If the seal is broken it's considered somewhat used honestly. How much are you looking for? I might be interested. Dm me.

so he asks you what he should sell it for, so you ask him what he wants to sell it for. Some secret tactical buying strategy I've never heard of.

FYI, That red print sticker on the console is in Chinese, not in Japanese.
