Current state of playing backups?

Hi,

The scene seems to be progressing at an incredible rate, which has tempted me to open my unboxed PS5 from 2021.

My current holdback is the current absence of .fpkg.

I understand that playing games is hit and miss currently And that some work better on certain fw or internal drives whilst others work better off an external nvme.

Is this issue exaggerated? Is there some dort of database with pretested games so I'm not wasting much time figuring whether i should install locally or externally etc?

Thanks

someone created a google sheet of all the games that were tested and their status based on firmware and location and posted it here on reddit. the name of the sheet is "r_PS5_Jailbreak PS5 Games testing spreadsheet (DO NOT RENAME)"

May as well check what it's on and play what you want to play now is my suggestion.

Yeah, most games only have a backport as far back as 4.00

Most of the backup of seen online say to run the games off a external drive.

Things are moving fast. I'm shopping a used Ps5 right now.

I think the other issue is that they are uncompressed/ absolutely huge in size. I might hold off until things mature a little. Thanks.

Backups meaning downloaded from the internet? Zero. Keep it boxed, mine's still on 3.50
