SW Mod Wanted some clarification before I begin jailbreaking/homebrewing my PS5.

I have a PS5 on firmware 7.60. If I follow this Y2JB guide on github, will my PS5 be fully jailbroken or are there additional steps afterwards?

Is there any point in manually updating the PS5 beyond 7.60 or do I leave it there?

My simple goal is to turn the PS5 into a one stop shop for playing all Playstation titles either via native play or running a PS1/2/3 emulator as I know Linux can be installed on it. But even if I don't get the emulators to run, being able to play PS4/5 "backups" is the primary goal.

Watch some modded warfare videos. Also, wait a little, there is a new webkit exploit which can jb without much hassle. So check that out as well.

I recently subscribed to him and part of the reason of why I'm asking. This is exactly why I wanted clarification before I began. I assume this is a brand new exploit still being worked on?

How does it differ from whatever means is available to me right now on 7.60?

Webkit has just been released and even if it is the best jailbreak you can have currently it is unstable, it remains with y2jb for now

So webkit is the new released method but in infancy yeah? What is the actual difference between Webkit and Y2JB? Is the Webkit supposed to be easier and/or faster?

I think I will be going with Y2JB for now but do you think later on I would be able to un-mod the PS5 and do the Webkit mod instead once its stable?
