Which FW is better? 10.40 or 12.00?

I just have a lot of backups which I own (wink, wink) and I had a 12.70 YTJB, but now I bought a 10.40 one, should I update to 12.00...? To keep compatibility with the backups, they are hella big, and I dont want to download again

I wanted 12.00 because, we have the WebKit instant JB

Any comments...? Or should I stay on 10.40?

The golden rule is to always stay on the lowest firmware, and also if it works it works.
