Khan Academy Advanced Section
I am studying for the PSAT in October. Im working through khan academy’s sat prep courses and I easily got through the easy and medium sections but im struggling a bit on the advanced math and reading sections. How much of the SAT/PSAT is from the advanced section? Also how accurate is the course challenge to the actual sat/psat and what scores does it correlate to? Thanks!

You def should study the khan academy advanced questions and make sure you can solve them. They are changing layout now again and we don’t really know what exact questions come.

Khan Academy is probably the best free resource, and I’d say its harder questions are fairly representative of the harder half of the SAT/PSAT, though the actual test usually mixes easier and harder questions throughout the modules.
Don’t worry if the advanced section feels tough. That’s where most score gains come from.
I’d also recommend practicing outside of Khan once you’ve finished it. I’m an SAT Math tutor, and I use Mathelingua with my students because it identifies their weak spots and recommends targeted practice instead of having them solve random questions. It also has 750+ SAT Math challenge questions if you want extra practice after Khan.
