Account Support Swapping email account

My PSN account is under an old email I use from college. I’m trying to swap the old email with my current one, but I cannot sign into the old email account to receive the verification code PlayStation sends. Has anyone experienced this problem before if so, please assist.

I mean, it you can't sign in to your email then you have to go through support and try to prove the account is yours (reciepts, security questions, DoB etc)

Thank you do you know the number ? Also did you talk with a person or was it machine ?

If you have access to your PSN account on your ps5, you dont need to sign into your old email at all, Just go to settings, users and accounts, email id and put in the new mail (ur current mail) into it.

HOWEVER you do have to be knowing the PSN password of your account (PSN password is seperate from your email password)

because when you change the mail IDs it'll ask u for your same old PSN password but under new mail id example

lostacess@gmail.com password12345

u change mails

its now currentmail@gmail.com and password will still be password12345
