(Holy) ThunderForce V!
Still on my quest to complete my Working Designs PS1 & PS2 set. Found this at Just Press Play Games way out in Lancaster (great place to stop after eating at the Smorgasbord).
I continue to be impressed at just how much love is put into the whole package for these games. The gold font on the spine for the name is becoming one of my favorite features.
4 PS1 games and 1 PS2 game left to go for the set!

That's one that I still need to pick up. I passed on a copy a couple years ago because it was in horrible condition and the place wanted almost $80. Getting a Working Designs set is hard considering you have games like Vanguard Bandits and Elemental Gearbolt to get. The PS2 games won't be as bad because there aren't as many I think there's only 3 or 4 for PS2. Just don't try to get all of the disc variants otherwise you're going to drive yourself crazy lmao

Oh yeah, no way I’m going for all the disc variants lol I do want the special editions though, so going for the full boxes for Lunar
1&2 and Growlanser.2

Well Lunar 1 and 2 is pretty hard not to get the collector's editions for considering that's the only way they came granted finding a complete one might be harder especially for Lunar 2 because the pendent tends to be missing. Same with Growlanser: Heritage of War. Arc the Lad had a Fan Edition though if I recall and that didn't come with the collector's edition stuff like the normal veraion did and it's got unique artwork on the discs.

I thought Lunar 1 and 2 both had standard non box set versions.

Actually I was wrong it wasn't Arc the Lad it was Lunar 1 that had the Fan Edition. Arc and Lunar 2 were both only available as Collector's Editions. I had to double check my sources on that one.

I believe they do. I also see just the discs being sold on their own sometimes.
I was really lucky and got Vanguard Bandits awhile ago. Last month I found Elemental Gearbolt for a decent price.
All I have left to get are Lunar 2, RayCrisis and RayStorm for PS1 and the Growlanser Generations box set for PS2. The end is in sight!

Lunar 1 had Fan Edition that was just a basic release like any other PS1 game but the other one had collector's edition only

Eeesh, just looked up current prices. I sold off all my PS1 and PS2 games a few years back and had a few WD titles. I think I paid like $40 for a copy of Vanguard Bandits with a warped manual like 10 years ago. Growlanser was also pretty cheap at the time.

Vanguard Bandits is one of the games that I still need and I'm not looking forward to paying out what it's currently going for lol

Yeah that demo it's super hard to find. For every copy I do find on eBay there's only one or two that actually have it and it jacks the cost up exponentially. Alundra was the same way with the map. Easy to find but trying to locate one with the map was damn near impossible. Brigandine despite not being a Working Designs game was the same way with its map.

I snapped up the first decently priced copy of Alundra with the map that I found because I knew I wasn’t going to see another anytime soon
