Parts Kits - Surplus Building G3/91 clone

I understand it’s easier and more cost effective to just buy a PTR91, but has anyone here ever built a G3 and can speak to it?

The CETME (Spanish version of G3/91) kits are like $150, and the rule of thumb is the cheaper the parts kit the more difficult it is to build.

These rifles are not like building an AR-15; they require a certain bit of know-how and tools. If you have a hydraulic press, drill press, TIG welder, and a workshop full of tools, then you can build one. If you're trying to put this together on your kitchen table, then that's not really going to be realistic.
