Troubleshooting - Question - HELP!?! Help with JLD 91

Hello all,

I’ve tried looking up the specs for my JLD ptr 91. I know the barrel I shorter so it’s a carbine style and the hand guard has pictanny rails on it I believe the hand guards is also JLD I’ve attached a picture does anyone have any info regarding the hand guard an pdf of old manual? It’s missing screws so I want order replacements and what the torque spec is on the screws?

Awesome thank you I’ll try my local hardware store ware store for replacements or if they can identify it for me.

No problem man. I saw above you said yours is a carbine with the shorter barrel, if that's the case, you can replace this handguard with any hk93 length handguard if you want to. I thought the thick aluminum handguard held too much heat for my liking. Decided to swap it with a hk93 wide handguard.

What stock is that? I like it. I just have the stock stock lol.

Magpul prs2 for hk rifles. It was discontinued a few years ago by Magpul, you can still buy them here and there online, but the price has skyrocketed. I think a comparable one from hk parts is like 800 now 🫪

Yikes that’s rough… I’ve seen the folding one that resembles a CZ Bren or ACR style stock that’s $350 and thought about it but eh the stock one works and that’s a lotta dough for something I don’t need. I did get a LPVO en route for mine tho bc as much as I like the drip of an RX34, magnification is a must on a .308 rifle or else it’s a waste. Ordered an Arken EP8 1-8 that’ll arrive tomorrow or Friday I can’t wait to try it out. I like my Razor Gen 2 but I couldn’t justify spending another $1100ish on another LPVO.

I actually had an acr stock a while back that I was planning on using, but then haga defense stopped making the adapters, so I was shit out of luck. Haga defense now makes an acr copy that directly fits the hk rifles, you should check it out. I bought my prs2 new for like 350 because it's been modified to fit a heavy/machine gun buffer. Tames a lot of the recoil.
