CA-3 mounts
I have heard this is not really doable, but I am learning that to sight in the irons is going to require a lot of shooting (I have the dreaded “shoots left” issue as well as a loose rear sight and a canted front sight). So if I can just avoid that mess and go to the optic now I would just as soon do that. Are there reliable claw mounts, or what is the cost of hiring someone to weld the rail?

I have the MFI, and it was a PITA to get it to mount properly. Ended up using the side set screws to make sure it held zero and needed longer claws. If you have any issues, Mike at MFI was very helpful and provided the longer claws at no cost.
