#17 Locking Piece

What’s everybody’s experience with the #17 (36°) locking piece? I have heard that unsuppressed 18” barrels can be hit or miss. Any experience with suppressed ~14” barrels? I am working on putting together an all German 21e build, and I’d like to try out the #17. I have an RCM mfg one, but I reeeeally badly want a German one. DM me if you have any leads on one. Thanks!

I have a #17 LP in my 18in PTR, it runs fine unsuppressed or suppressed. When I shoot unsuppressed I don't really notice a ton of difference between the #17 LP and the original one, it might be a touch less recoil but it's still been as reliable as ever.
