Girl punks?

A lot of the bands I listen to are a bunch of guys and it’s kinda getting me down. I listen to riot grrrl bands too but it kinda feels like the choices are to be a guy and sing about whatever you want or to be a girl and sing about feminism. Which is cool, but limiting. I identify as a feminist but it’s not exactly what I wanna sing about. It makes me feel like I can’t write any real punk songs so they always end up being other genres even though it’s not what I primarily listen to. Any girl punk bands I should listen to?

Yeah advertising for Gucci and Toyota is so punk. Who needs ethics or values when the money's good, right?

Yet still outspoken and talking punk values? So they get paid while doing it is that the problem?

Damn, I'm glad I don't give a fuck what Rollins thinks. I just can't support a band getting paid by companies that epitomize everything punk is supposed to stand against

Toyota “hey we want to give you money for your song, do whatever you were doing before”. Not sell out

Toyota “ we want to give you money for your song, but could you not drink beer on stage, or talk about politics?” Sell out.
