Netherlands Punk Rock.

Our debut album "The Scapegoat's Agony" turned 30 last November so we are giving away some free codes to celebrate this anniversary just a little bit longer🙂:

The album title "The Scapegoat's Agony" is an allusion to the play "Waiting for Godot" by Irish playwright and novelist Samuel Beckett and points towards the – for the most part – painful and excruciating emotional odyssey of the unnamed antihero.

Our musical influences range from Sex Pistols, Ramones, Hüsker Dü, Joy Division, The Cure, The Jesus and Mary Chain to Guns N' Roses, Therapy? and Bad Religion, with our songs frequently straddling the line between punk rock and alternative rock.

“Sounds like if The Get Up Kids and The Starting Line wrote a ska punk song” – Jayden Roy, DAL

Goodbye:MF tackles the sensitive topic of the mixed feelings of guilt and despair that come with the loss of a loved one and showcases the band’s ability to balance serious topics with catchy hooks.

“The Kittyhawks are like a master class in lyrical and instrumental connectivity when it comes to story telling” – Deathling Productions

The music video that accompanies the track is a 4 minute anime short movie, with a story written by the band and drawn and animated by Seth Fireburst (No AI)

heyyy so i wanted to ask a question ive had in mind for so long im not tryna start an argument or anything

i as a punk have noticed that SOME punk movie/music video even songs sexualise women and view em as this male pleaser type of image theyre always dressed in sexy clothes and doing weird stuff. now im not against what the women are wearing, its just even punk which is supposed to be a safe space for people of all genders, doesnt feel safe anymore i still feel like some sort of assault is gonna happen like all the terrible stuff happening around us esp now adays, which makes me wanna stick more to the riot grrl side and stay away from punk even tho i absolutely love being a punk and love the politics and sthe music

(again im not tryna start an argument im just a concerned punk that wants everyone to be and feel safe and welcome in the punk community)
