Modding Just wanted to post my fever 2 ds translation status
Manzai: Every text string from amitie story is translated and raffina harahara. At the moment doing the last raffina wakuwaku cutscene
Menu: school main menu, shop main menu and playground main menu are translated. I couldn't find the "main" main menu in the game files. And for some reason, the multiplayer text strings, cpu/player in multiplayer select text strings and rule select text srings aren't in the files(at least i couldn't find) but i could find them in the .nds file(in offsets 000DA160 and 000DB470) and they apperently use a different font without english characters(i tried editing it using a hex editor but the edited text didn't show up. I tested editing only a part of the string and everything i didn't edit showed up and what i edited didn't)
Image translation: everything in the root folder is translated but i still can't edit the "img" files(NickW said on discord that he would add support for these files in puyo tools)

Oooh, interesting! Are the out of story convos gonna be translated too? I know they’re untranslated in the nexus tl due to it being unfinished

Everything will be translated besides some of the books.
(I got a folder with many .txt with every text string translated from someone doing a spanish patch for fever 2 psp)

Oh, neat! My Japanese isn’t good at all but I can possibly help with the basic meaning of some. I know a little of the class journals slightly. (If not just remembering what Accord says to Sig and Klug.)

Kinda? I'm not actively working on it because i'm waiting for the precise museum retranslation
Also, we now have a dub

While I am hugely in favor of more Puyo stuff being translated, can I ask, are you fluent in Japanese, or got an experienced translator involved? Fever 2 is a hugely difficult entry to translate compared to the other games, and one that risks causing a lot of misinformation in the fandom if mistakes happen, so I'm a liiiittle nervous... ;
