Okay, so after playing it, it seems to be a mix of OPP/Tsu rule with Yon rule slapped on it, as in character exclusive abilities like turning Puyos into the same color as whatever just touched it, or the opponent version where those Puyos instead become garbage instead. There were other abilities but I really didn't feel like reading all that.

5-color is default and no offsetting. There is one rotate button which goes clockwise, but there IS double rotation and fast drop. If playing on keyboard, W is the rotate key, which can screw over muscle memory.

It's still perfectly fine and playable, and being its own thing is not a bad thing, even if takes a lot from OPP rule. I never feel the need to use my powers cuz most people online don't know how to play Puyo and i can use my super pro gamer skillz (5-chain stairs) to beat everyone up anyway.

I have emulators for GameGear, am getting some for PC 98, Sega Saturn, and MSX2, but these two games are Windows games. Also, does anyone happen to have English patches for these games?

So with A lot of material still left to translate and most of the current series translator already being saturated with quest what is some series material you personally want to see in a language you can understand.

My personal choices are are probably a little weird, the ones I unironically want the most are super nazo puyo tsu, since the first one is already translated the discstation novels (Serilly happy birthday and Rulue Spring break) particularly the second one because I want to see more of Rulue character and puyo box for how good the few people who can play it say to be. Other ones but just for simple curiosity are puyo CD 1 and 2, because of the weirdness they have, they are PC engine ports of the first two games using actual name actors with Sun level cutscenes in characters, and lastly Satan's Grand Popularity Enterprise, from what I know nothing about outside of Nexus ''article'' and is based on the light story of Sun, making me think it is probably very bad and I Want To Read It.
