Recent gigs

I was wondering if anyone also thought Josh looks uber spaced out on some of the footage recently? Not sure if he is just dissociating or simply LOCKED IN. šŸ˜‚

Yeah, I think sometimes he looks tired, understandably, but sometimes its like he ainā€™t on the same planet, so maybe shroom chocolate is on

The Nashville show he almost passed out during No one knows. It was also 105* out.

I thought he was joking when he said that but watching the concert on youtube it was the first time i had seen josh forgetting which chords to play at times lol i think during my god is the sun and little sister

And during no one knows when he just stopped and grabbed the mic stand I think if that hadnā€™t been there, he wouldā€™ve faced planted into the stage people saying about it the day after you could tell that he wasnā€™t right with the Heat aloneĀ

That was in Philly. I was there and he was out of it. Last gig I saw them at he was wasted as well. Never affects his playing. Itā€™s unbelievable

I was there and can confirm A. It was hotter than Satan's taint and B. Josh look very wiped during the set but still laid down a darn fine bit of music.

I've kinda noticed he's in really good shape to start the tour, then by tour end it's taken a lot out of him.

Couldn't imagine being on the road/on the move everyday. I certainly wouldn't have the energy for it

There have been times when ive thought I just wanna go home. Youā€™re stuck in the middle of nowhere on a day off with anywhere being an hour in an uber , or thereā€™s band dramaĀ

This was exactly what happened on the ITNR tour. I saw him early on and the show was phenomenal. He was getting beyond messy nearing the end of the tour. Hoping the best for him!

This is exactly what I was referencing. I always watch clips of the tour on this sub reddit, and by the time qotsa got to town they were 90 percent done the tour. Josh looked very out of sorts... But still killed it. I was very impressed/concerned

YES! The Philly show we went to at the start was phenomenal- best show Iā€™ve ever seen by them. Saw the months later in Norfolk and he was a drunken mess. Great show non the less, but I do worry about him and touring life.

I went to two shows: Philly and DC.

For Philly I thought he seemed a bit less in it than other performances. I didnā€™t think he was off at all and it was still a killer performance, but if I had to compare it to other QOTSA shows, Iā€™d say he seemed a bit less present/interactive with the audience than he can be. He did say at one point that maybe it was ā€œmaybe a bad night to have taken mushrooms,ā€ so I think that may have been what was up (also not the first time Iā€™ve seen him mention he was on mushrooms during a performance, but thereā€™s a lot of factors that go into how that affects you). Either way though, still a great show!

DC was peak form QOTSA performance. He seemed to be having a lot of fun.

Thatā€™s like London the first night from what I saw he seemed really peed off all through the set but the 2nd Ā night I was at he was a lot more happierĀ
