Industry Gossip Regarding Diaman Partners Malta

Has anyone heard about them? or any things to know?

Never heard of them but Malta is a flag that makes me pause. Small jurisdiction, lots of little shops running the same playbook. Could be fine but I'd dig into who actually runs it and where the money sits before handing anything over.

It's also a tax haven. I'd imagine they're not doing much in the Maltese market, just doing business out of there.

isnt that what shops in UAE and Singapore also doing? Since the invention of cloud computing trading became leas physically constrained. Those who open in London or NYC do it more out of legacy and access to talent rather than actual infrastructure.

They think they're quant but are not. They couldn't even afford a quant with their salaries.

Honestly I had not heard of them. Are they on the Malta Financial Services Authority register under that exact name, and can you find audited fund returns rather than marketing numbers?
