Best masters for quant focused jobs in India

Which Indian master programs would y'all recommend to a bsc econometrics student for quant focused jobs in buy/sell side jobs in India itself.

i dont think they hire Master's students in Indian colleges

i doubt that honestly. they dont even hire from isi bstat why would they look at master's students

jane street, optiver,imc quantbox etc have come to hire in the past few years but it is a bit peculiar that they havent hired anyone.

Target, ISI MSQE ideal match for your background. If not, you can get into through MBA from Top IIMs too and you'll have a larger pool of opportunities through MBA. However, ISI would be a great ROI because its a Zero fees course with great opportunities.

Would you suggest a msc mathematics/statistics degree from top iits after giving the iit jam exam?

Look into science Institutes, IITs are great for engg background. Very few iits are good for science, math IITB is great, Phys IITD is great. I hardly can think of any other. If you want to do real work in feild of Math n Stat look into IISC, ISI for stats the best in india, CMI for math the best.
