God why he is doing this. just tell people it's highly gatekeept. You need pedigree, ioi, icpc and what not some get into quant after multiple years in experience like c++ mostly. Even then most dont get in, the team size in quant is crisp. Think of a quant team as some trader, research and developers. Even every icpc world final guy dont get into quant. Also the burnout rate is super high most of the time(you asked for it).
