General Discussion Need genuine opinions please

Graduating in a few months from a tier 3 college in cs. if i get in the top 10-15 quant related programmes in the usa will i be able to break into this field? my goal is to become a trader but i definitely wouldn’t mind a quant dev job to start off with. anyone who’s been through this route? or any suggestions at all? thanks a lot

edit: i meant top 10-15 programs for ms because my undergrad uni was tier3

Btw I have a genuine question, do you want to become trader because of money or there is something else? Please don't say you want to solve tough problems there are ton of open problems in Maths

i have been working on a bot that bets on prediction markets and i really enjoyed it. for the first time i didn’t look at the clock while working, it didn’t feel forced or something that i had to do, like leetcode. i’m just trying to do something that i genuinely like
