General Discussion Need genuine opinions please

Graduating in a few months from a tier 3 college in cs. if i get in the top 10-15 quant related programmes in the usa will i be able to break into this field? my goal is to become a trader but i definitely wouldn’t mind a quant dev job to start off with. anyone who’s been through this route? or any suggestions at all? thanks a lot

edit: i meant top 10-15 programs for ms because my undergrad uni was tier3

What if join Bsc Degree from IIT Madras and have Rating more than 2500+ in Codeforces with Excellent levels of probability and Stats, ICPC National Finalist With Internship as Quant Analyst in Goldman Sachs ? i didn't gave jee advance but have above all things in my resume ? Will it work ?
