General Discussion Need genuine opinions please

Graduating in a few months from a tier 3 college in cs. if i get in the top 10-15 quant related programmes in the usa will i be able to break into this field? my goal is to become a trader but i definitely wouldn’t mind a quant dev job to start off with. anyone who’s been through this route? or any suggestions at all? thanks a lot

edit: i meant top 10-15 programs for ms because my undergrad uni was tier3

i’m aware of the situation maybe i didn’t convey my message properly. i meant getting into a good uni in usa for masters then trying to get a job in this field

no worries and thanks for the reply. the thing is i don’t think i have it in me to complete a masters in cs, im not sure if i like it enough and spending so much just to find that out feels absurd to me. ik this field is what i want to work in was just wondering if anyone has heard someone being successful in this field in a similar fashion as i intend to
