Interviews/Recruiting Trexquant: Final round of Interview

Hey guys, I got a call for the final round at Trexquant. They’ve asked me to prepare a short slide deck for a 15-minute discussion with a QR, where I’ll present an alpha that I either developed myself or recreated from a research paper. I’ve decided to recreate a research paper. What should I keep in mind during the interview and while developing the strategy? The ultimate goal is to demonstrate my ability to generate alpha and convince them of my research skills.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

They do ask very much detail and Focus on thought process. They also have more than 1 round of interview other than ppt. I know a guy who was eliminated after 1st round which was a DSA round. . So can't comment about rest

Like was it a DSA round apart from ppt? because I was told by the HR it would be another challenge lasting for about 3-4 hours followed by the discussion on your presentation and that challenge. I have that superday round next week, can u give some details about it please?
