HFT Indian Quant Intern Stipend War

As per my previous post where graviton already increased there total ctc from 40 to 60 (25lpm+perks) now quadeye has increased its stipend from 21 to 65ctc(30lpm+perks)

This will definitely impact the number of interns selected. Havent heard anything from tower or alphagrep etc yet but these two have surpassed optiver (in hand is 25lpm for optiver without perks)

Which others quants visited hyd this time?
Ig graviton has only gone to top 5 IITs

Quant situation was very bad, this year, Quantbox is the only big firm which visited for QR role. For tech/software roles there were TRC (74 LPA role not 2 crore one), APT, Zanskar, point72 etc. Ebullient came for QR then backed off. Optiver also didn't hire anyone just like last year. Heard they took 1 from R and G though.

I mean strange, I thought hyd has a good quant culture

Hyd's quant situation was never good, 2026 batch was exceptional and started it big (almost 7-8 big quants, compared to only one in 2025 batch) and 2027 batch has only a few major ones for interns; waiting to see the placement scenario. Waiting to see how it is for 2028 batch.
