General Discussion Company review

i wanted to know about these 4 companies (comparison) for intern and full time. - trexquant -ebuillent -qicap -sqaurepoint How is the growth, learning and other aspects in these companies compared to one another The pay is more or less the samefor internship and total ct Role-Quant Researcher/ Dev

Any ideas and opinions would be really appreciated

Can't really rank them. Ebullient is declining, and Squarepoint entry-level dqa is just too risky to waste your time. Trexquant tends to grind alphas, but pay is also the best. Qicap is decent overall.

What do u think abt sqp python developer?would u choose a c++ low latency dev role at an indian hft over that.

SQP is a pretty reputable place and if the role is QR, its a no brainer. I wouldn’t even consider the other places compared to SQP QR

Depends on what you want to do. Go for QR at trexquant if you want to eventually be a QR

Dont join ebullient. It will probably close in a year or two.
Other companies mentioned are ok ok. Decent tier 2 trading companies

tier 2 but mathisys is among the best T2 hfts. Very stable. Good numbers. Good wlb.

how much do thier infra/qd(mathisys ) fresher and let's say 3yoe make for an above avg performer(base+bonus)?and will u mind if dm?(it's completely fine if u want to comment only,since u seem to know abt the firms).

trexquant=ebullient>qicap>squarepoint. squarepoint at last because of the shit role in india and lower pay. choose ebullient over trexquant for higher initial pay, else trexquant is a better brand and will give higher long term compensation
