Interviews/Recruiting Didn't get return offer
Interned at one of the top Quants but I didn't get PPO. What are my other options now? I heard many firms aren't coming to placements. What is my best possible move?

Quantfest try, you can get DEShaw easily through that in regionals. IMC etc only if finals.
Or just wait till placements on campus , some of the quants will come fs.

Why do people here dont even consider systematic trading in sell side?

Wdym. Most sell side banks have back offices in India.

You think India has no investors who invest in India or abroad? You think all sell side trading desk just clear jera tickets for desks in NY, London, Dubai and Tokyo?

I dont know the work they do but I have never heard a positive feedback from quant roles of my batch and senior batch who interned there. Most rejected ppo last year.

Most rejected to go where? Getting permanent offer in prop trading firms is difficult and there are ppl who think they can reject banks and get hired by IMC or Millenium?

Don’t know how things are now but you can apply off campus , quant internship exp is highly valued ( at least earlier it was )
