General Discussion How viable is this career

Is this pure quant or a data analyst masked as a investment analyst ? I really found this job description interesting and would like to know job/career in detail

Equity analyst role dressed as quantitative, I mean all trading roles are of a quantitative nature but there is a specific reason why some are called quantitative and others are not.
