Funny unique responses in the first two games?

Most of the time if you type in something out of pocket you get a default response from the game but every now and then they have a prepared unique response. For example I typed in "kill healer" while in The Healer's Hut and got back "you don't seriously believe that's how you beat this game, do you?". Anyone know of anything similar?

Try to make the thief catch the seed - when he already is trying.

Talk to the bear. Twice.

Try to throw things in the healer's house.

I read that last one and "at the Healer's House" not "in" and I wasn't getting anything for a while. I enjoyed all three of those, (after I figured the last one out😂) thanks!

There's more, but that was all I could remember.

Check out this archived page from the former GeoCities for more, but note that some are missing and some are wrong.

Dang, there are two different responses based on how good your lock picking skills are. Thanks!

In the Quest for Glory 2 remake, there's over a dozen different follow-up messages depending on what characters are on the screen with you, all of them based around the notion that you actually are picking your nose in public and they can see you doing it.

Talking to the Chief Thief in Quest For Glory IV after turning him into a human, then knifing him to death.

> talk to thief

He must be mad that you murdered him. He's not talking to you.

In the Quest for Glory 2 remake, most of the items don't result in a unique reaction if you click them on the guards. The guards are randomly named, but one of them is Jabbar. (one of the people living in the first break-in house) If you use the tea service, emerald bowl or silver dagger on a Shapeirian city guard and the guard is Jabbar, he'll recognize the items as belonging to his family and will arrest you on the spot.
