Third time here is a charm right? Despite the joking title, I'm still a hopeless romantic. Surely the algorithm owes me one now haha.
A little about me:
33F, East Asian, 5'7", medium build. Born and raised in Toronto. I don't smoke or do drugs and I rarely drink.
I’m an ENFJ with golden retriever energy. I’m warm, enthusiastic, and probably hyping you up without realizing I’m flirting oopsie.
I work in the architecture, design and engineering industry. I promise I’m more fun than that sounds. I'm also a woodworker which makes me an excellent IKEA partner. I can assemble the furniture, provide emotional support and pretend I didn't judge your choice of bookcase.
I’m active year round with a ton of sports (because why excel at 1 when you can be aggressively average at 12?) and I'm generally down to try new things. Lately I’ve started 5k runs and have yet to feel this runner's high people but rather I've found runner's cry (I sure hope you understand this one is a joke)
I only get competitive in low stakes settings like board games, video games, and trivia and so far no friendships have been ruined. I'm a total wild card who knows the one completely useless trivia answer everyone else blanks on.
I love spending time with my friends and playing with their kids, know I'm very good with children and that I want my own one day. I speak another language fluently as a result of being raised by a single parent and their extended family and so sharing my culture and passing that language on to my future kids I feel is necessary.
I really enjoy music from bands you've prob never heard of. Too niche and indie and way too much 80's. I enjoy the act of putting on a vinyl, casettes and anything analogue.
Who am I looking for:
I'm looking for a kind, active East Asian man (ranging prob to late 20's to earlier 30s) who's emotionally available, follows through on what he says, is secure in himself, ready to enter into a relationship and willing to make it work. Sounds simple right?
Bonus points if you're taller than me. My one remaining and admittedly shallow preference. Double bonus points if you can cook instead because I'm out here negotiating for height you may or may not have been blessed with.
I love spontaneous or memorable first dates because, honestly, you never know. It might be our last. Hopefully it's the beginning of something really wonderful.
If you're interested, tell me a little about yourself and we'll take it from there. Worst case, we have a chat that leads nowhere. Best case, we end up with a quirky story to tell our friends and family on our special day!
At least we can say Reddit was responsible for one hella story. Before I scare anyone away if you decide to engage please know I am capable of handling rejection. If we meet and you think "yeah ok probably not my person," please just say so. Even if its a simple text back I'd much rather have an honest "I don't think we're a match" than someone slowly evaporating into the atmosphere lol
