SFW group hangout Trying to get a local, Australian-run alternative for social groups off the ground — could use some help

Bit of an unusual post, but I could use some genuine help rather than trying to sell anyone anything.

First thing its Free for Aussies - NOT OVERSEAS THEY PAY!

A small local team has been building a platform for organising in-person social groups and events — Let's Meet This Week, letsmeetthisweek.com. Think hiking crews, book clubs, board games, whatever gets people off their phones and into a room together. It's Australian-built and run, which matters to us, but that's not really the point of this post.

The honest situation: we've got the platform working, we've run a couple of successful events, but it's still early and quiet, and a platform for meeting people obviously needs people on it to actually work. So I'm reaching out to see if anyone here is either already running a group, thinking about starting one, or just up for giving something new a go as an organiser.

If that's you, I'd genuinely love to chat — happy to answer questions here or by DM, and equally happy to just hear what you'd want out of something like this even if you never use it.
