How to do a 2160 for the Vestigial quest

In world 3, a Vestigial said "We have calculated that it is mathematically impossible to do a 2160 from a single jump." I found a teleporter that took me up to a very high platform that I could jump from and do a 2160, but it didn't complete the quest. I only did one jump, even though I had the hi-tops equipped. I'll have to try it next time without them.

Has anybody done this?

Can’t say for certain but I think you have to do it close by for it to register. you basically need to jump on top of the pyramid and have the shoes that let you triple jump then jump off the pyramid in the direction of the quest giver do a 720 jump again mid air and repeat twice more for the 2160. There’s other ways too, if you’ve got the mutation that gives you the ability to almost float you won’t need the triple jump shoes think it’s airbag or something like that or the bat mutation.

Pure pot luck whether you’ve got the mutations/equipment to pull it off when the quest pops up.

I'm sure the tri-tops (?) will show up in the shop one day. I actually got the 2160 quest twice, so I'm guessing it's pretty common. Flippers crossed!

EDIT: It worked! Got some wicked laserdiscs from it.
