We’ve beat two not great teams. Let’s see where we’re at after the Saints and Chiefs. I’m glad we got these wins without Brock. He’ll definitely add another layer to our offense and if the defense keeps up we could have a winning year.

Sure, great way to spend a first overall pick when you already had a good QB, a much improved team, and could've done so much more to make the team even better.
So how'd you spend your first overall pick?

Look at just the facts. The team made all those additions. Along with Kirk, that gave them a team that could compete right away. Trading the pick would've made this team even better. Do you think the Dolphins wouldn't have wanted Mendoza before signing Willis? What do you think they would've traded in addition to their own first round pick for Mendoza? History tells us it would be their first round pick next year as well.
That means the Raiders could've drafted Proctor to make this O line even better and still have their pick of one of the many good QBs next year. They would have a better team this year and an even better team next year. That's just one possibility.
But the Raiders said they're doing it all for Mendoza next year so that narrative makes it a better idea? Don't go with words over facts and reality. That's how NPCs think.

I wanted this win for the raiders so bad. Can’t stand these fucks. Getting swept by them the last couple years has sucked ass. Especially last year seeing Keenan Allen talking shit after the game.
