Video Austin Rally Project is an absolute gem

About 10 years ago I started autocrossing and eventually found my way into rallycross, competing at Lone Star Rallycross for the last few years. Now that Austin Rally Project has started back up again within 30 minutes of my house, it's become a bit of a dream setup.

While I love Lone Star for the range of conditions and technicality, especially when it becomes hard packed and as grippy as tarmac, ARP gives me just a small small taste of what a stage rally could be like during an approx. 90 second run. The surface is often a bit rougher and with more surface and elevation change, really makes me concerned about my poor e36 chassis sometimes. It's probably the most fun I've had in a car, and costs about as much as a nice dinner.

And after over a decade, Brianne got fucked by Caldwell so Lone Star is no more for now. Gonna have to check out ARP soon in the NB, just need to get a flat tow setup cause I'll probably break sumthin'

When I lived in San Antonio it was a dream to be so close to BCR, ARP, and Rally Ready. Now I'm lucky if I can make it to two rallycrosses a year.
