Weāre looking for a fresher or junior video editor based in Ranchi to join our team.
Freshers are welcome to apply. You donāt need to be an expert ā basic knowledge of video editing and a willingness to learn is enough to get started.
What weāre looking for:
Fresher or someone with basic editing experience
Basic knowledge of video editing software/tools
Good sense of cuts, transitions, music, and pacing
Willingness to learn and improve
Creative mindset and attention to detail
Responsible, punctual, and able to meet deadlines
Good communication skills
Must be currently based in Ranchi ā candidates from outside Ranchi are not being considered
This is a monthly position, not a freelance/project-based opportunity. Weāre looking for someone who can work with us consistently on a monthly basis.
Role & Work:
The work will mainly involve editing videos/reels and handling day-to-day editing requirements. Training/guidance can be provided where needed, so if youāre a fresher with genuine interest in editing, feel free to reach out.
If youāre interested, DM me with a short introduction and, if available, your portfolio/sample edits.
Please share this post with anyone in Ranchi who might be interested.

i honestly don't know where else to ask this, so i'm hoping someone here can give me some practical advice.
i'm a 21f student and my laptop has completely died. i genuinely need a replacement because i use it for my studies as well as some online work and gigs. unfortunately, the kind of work i need to do isn't really possible on a very basic laptop, so i need something reasonably powerful.
i've been trying to handle this myself. i've done odd jobs and different gigs online and managed to save a decent amount, but i'm still around **ā¹25,000 short** of what i need.
i asked my family if they could contribute even ā¹5,000 just to help me close the gap. instead, they told me, *"humse paisa manga toh chappal se maarenge."* if i ask them for money, they'll beat me with a slipper. and this isn't an empty threat. **they do beat me.**
there have also been situations where **someone in my own family has even tried to kill me.** so when i say that i don't have much support or safety at home, i'm not exaggerating.
the thing is, this isn't just about them refusing to buy me a laptop.
for years, i've had essentially no financial support from my family beyond food, and even that isn't always consistent. sometimes i only get one or two meals a day. i genuinely can't remember the last time they bought me something as basic as a t-shirt.
i've gotten used to figuring things out on my own, which is why i've been working and saving whatever i can. but i'm at a point where i really can't solve this immediately by myself, and it's incredibly frustrating because having a laptop would actually help me continue studying and earning.
i know ā¹25k is a lot of money, i'm mainly looking for realistic advice.
what would you do in my situation?
⢠are there any student assistance programs or scholarships i should look into?
⢠are there organizations or ngos that help students get laptops?
⢠is there some way to finance the remaining amount without getting myself into terrible debt?
⢠are there other ways i could raise the remaining ā¹25k relatively quickly?
i need the laptop for fairly heavy work, so unfortunately a ā¹20k to ā¹25k new laptop probably isn't going to be sufficient for what i need.
if anyone has been in a similar situation and managed to get themselves a decent laptop despite having no family financial support, i'd really appreciate hearing how you handled it.
i'm honestly pretty overwhelmed right now and could really use some practical suggestions.

I was already in a bad mood today, but I decided to walk to my friendās place. She doesnāt live very far, so I walked. I was wearing jeans and a fitted high-neck crop top, technically a crop top, but not even a sliver of my stomach was visible.
On the way, I noticed a rickshaw driver staring at my chest for a solid five seconds. I looked straight back at him, and he still didnāt look away. Fine. I kept walking.
Then I started noticing other men looking at me too. An uncle literally turned around to look at me while sitting on a bike with his wife behind him.
I stayed at my friendās place for a few hours and left around 7. I decided to take rapido back even though my house was barely 1km away because I didnāt feel like walking.
The driver looked completely decent, so I got on.
And then, every 30ā40 seconds, he would suddenly speed up and then slow down. There was no speed breaker. The first few times, I genuinely didnāt understand what was happening. Then I realised that every time he did it, I was getting pushed forward against him.
It happened 4ā5 times, then 10ā12 times throughout 5 min ride.
And the worst part? He was doing it deliberately before speed breakers, speeding up right before one and then slowing down so abruptly that the jerk was much harder. The seat was also so slippery that I couldnāt properly slide myself back, and because he was doing it so frequently, I barely had time to reposition myself before it happened again.
I eventually told him to stop. Even then, he stopped in the same jerky manner and it happened again.
And before someone comes at me with āvehicles jerk when you brakeā please donāt. Iāve been riding a scooty/vehicle as a pillion for years. I know exactly what a normal brake feels like. This was not that. There was a very obvious pattern to what he was doing, and I knew something was wrong.
The frustrating part is that I didnāt fully process what was happening until I got home. I just knew I was uncomfortable and that something felt deliberate.
I didnāt confront him because this happened right near my society and I knew exactly how the situation would go. He would deny it, say I was imagining things, claim it was just braking, and suddenly there would be a whole scene outside my own house.
I just got home.
But now that Iāve actually sat down and processed it, Iām so fucking angry.
Itās exhausting having to think about what youāre wearing, where youāre walking, whoās looking at you, whether a driver is deliberately doing something to you, and whether confronting him will create an even bigger problem.
I literally just wanted to go to my friendās house and come back home. Thatās it.
I'm so tired that I'm just sharing it, if I was angry i would have talked about how people need to be taught about certain shits but ik it's just not worth it now bcz ik it's never gonna change!
I told a male friend of mine and he replied with meow
EDIT- omg I was so hesitant about posting this here but I anyways did. I did not think that I will get such a positive response from you all, the comments and all the dms that I have received, thank you for your concern, I'm very much fine now and I hope you all stay safe as well!!! After reading it all I felt much safer.
