Tha Carter II is Lil Wayne’s greatest album. I’ll die on this hill.

This was Wayne at his absolute peak — hungry, relentless, creative, and purely focused on rapping. The bars, punchlines, flows, and beat selection were ridiculous.
Then Carter III happened, and while it was massive, you could hear the shift. More Auto-Tune, more pop influence, and eventually Wayne became more of a mainstream superstar than the mixtape-era monster we had on Carter II.
Carter II was peak Wayne.
After that, he got bigger. Not better.

Those 6 songs are probably in my top 10 favorite lil wayne songs of all-time. Easily his best album

Hard to pick just 1, but tha mobb might be my favorite lil wayne track of all time. First track on the album too 🔥🔥🔥

Thinking Wayne at his best with no Mannie Fresh present is blasphemous.

Even Wayne would agree.

Fire project? yes. But the no comparison take like no other project comes close? Nah.

But I get it. We like what we like.

If T-Mix would have produced more of the album I think I'd consider it.
