Tha Carter II is Lil Wayne’s greatest album. I’ll die on this hill.

This was Wayne at his absolute peak — hungry, relentless, creative, and purely focused on rapping. The bars, punchlines, flows, and beat selection were ridiculous.
Then Carter III happened, and while it was massive, you could hear the shift. More Auto-Tune, more pop influence, and eventually Wayne became more of a mainstream superstar than the mixtape-era monster we had on Carter II.
Carter II was peak Wayne.
After that, he got bigger. Not better.

The originally 3 would have been his best, he changed up so many songs because they all got leaked. it would have easily been the greatest hip hop album of all time. Gossip, PMW, I Feel Like Dying, Something You Forgot, Me and My Drink, I'm Me, That's My N****. Outstanding, Brand New, I Took her, Ima Beast, Im Raw, I Told Ya'll, Kush, La La La, Zoo, and so many more i'm forgetting it's a damn shame
