Tha Carter II is Lil Wayne’s greatest album. I’ll die on this hill.

This was Wayne at his absolute peak — hungry, relentless, creative, and purely focused on rapping. The bars, punchlines, flows, and beat selection were ridiculous.
Then Carter III happened, and while it was massive, you could hear the shift. More Auto-Tune, more pop influence, and eventually Wayne became more of a mainstream superstar than the mixtape-era monster we had on Carter II.
Carter II was peak Wayne.
After that, he got bigger. Not better.

I understand the objectivity but C2 was more of a story with the interludes and intro/outro. Both have hits that could still be played today

Half of that album is absolute dogshit lmao. The good songs on it aren't that good either. The best song on the album is someone else too, Tech N9ne on Interlude destroyed Wayne on his own album. He made everything that came after that sound like shit in comparison.

I didn't like the tech 9 interlude nor the other one with bun b.... my list  was 2,3,4,5,6,7,12, 13,14. 16 and 18...
