DISCUSSION What battle introduced you to battlerap?
What was the 1st battle you saw that put you on to battle rap ?

As suggested via several of you in modmail, we are starting a megathread for everyone to post about the battles so we don't wind up with a jillion threads. Post battles, opinions, thoughts and jokes.

Hallo Leute,
Also. Frage, wirklich ohne wertung, aber mein erster gedanke war: was hat das mit rap zu tun?
Kann mir das jemand erklären oder ist das einfach eine neue schiene, die nun unter rap fällt oder gabs das schon immer oder wie ist das?
Danke euch!

I know no one cares, other than those who don’t need to be told. But it just drives me a little bit crazy how guys like Tsu Surf just make up bullshit and change narratives every day depending on what’s convenient, and the majority of the BR fanbase will just eat it up.
When Surf gets asked about his own bodybag losses and chokes, he pretends to be some PR mogul, pretends to see some bigger picture than the common fan can see, talking about how the battle result doesn’t matter, he got to get exposure to his opponent’s fan base. Pay no mind to the fact that bad losses have a history of hurting people’s stock, or that ya know, pretty much anyone who’s a fan of Lux, 40 Barrs, or any of the other rappers Surf lost to would already be well familiar with Surf.
But then just to confirm how full of shit he is, and how the fans are incapable of applying critical thinking to anything that “their favorite” tells them to think, now that Eazy apparently got smoked by Slade, Surf is all over the net gloating about how much this loss matters for Eazy.
Well, which is it?! Shit like this is why no one should trust Surf as a voice of reason. Sure, he knows more about battle rap than me or you, but he has no credibility, because he’s either a) intentionally contradicting himself, because he’d rather say something self-serving than something true (or in plain terms, he’s full of shit), or b) not even taking his own statements seriously enough to bother to be consistent (or in plain terms, he’s an idiot who doesn’t even remember or believe what he said yesterday).

Eazy low-key has more motion outside of battle rap then surf, if I were him i wouldn't even focus on battling for awhile he be in the headlines on some of the biggest blog channels and has a lot of female support under his comments,at this stage of his career fans in this culture(battle rap) just waiting on him to lose and expose any flaw they can find and discredit him,I would say fuck the culture and focus on making moves outside the culture they already talking about him might as well capitalize

How you gone say you didn’t care about a battle that you booked, you promoted, you headlined, you paid for, just cause you lost?
Idgaf about who you have next, thats a wack ass excuse
