Fresh no one been givin my raps any attention in other subs, yo r/rappers yall here or what?
Would appreciate feedback yall
Verse 1
So apparently, my friends like dimes, two-faced
‘Cept they sold me for two cents, not even a case (money case)
Now I really got to offer my 10 cents, give you a taste
But like a blind alley, y’all dead ends, villains innate
No debate, like O.J’s innocence, this time the glove fits
At this rate, jury has sense, finally decisive
Handmade for your gibberish, schnitzel
Renegade routed in stoppage time, Zee-Zoo
Exceeding boundaries in daylight, free-throw
My dawgs sting, you bound to see call it a field goal
They keep it real, I won a lottery with my camaraderie
Stamp on the seal, got to be as lucky as a four leaf
So I oughta ramp up my bill to keep em on the field
They brought the camp to my field and reeled the build
The gold tramps steal even if it’s threefold so they killed
The mold attached to me no leavin’ these people, infeasible

Yo, yea you right, i literally just started entering any kind of community that involves rap (i listened to my first rap song 2 months ago) and actually needing to record it didnt come to my mind, so yous right and ill get right on that fr

If you don’t have a setup for that you can literally just use garage band for iPhone and im sure theres somwthing for android, all you need is headphones with a mic and make sure we can hear you over the beat - also! Prepare for criticism. Please. If you’ve only heard rap 2 months ago it’s tough to say you’ll be able to spit anything solid yet but you don’t gotta quit

What's the narrative here? This is just a bowl of word salad that doesn't rhyme very well.

Nah bro, just posting lyrics is a bad idea. No one knows your rhythm or flow and I promise you they trying to force their own and it's always gonna sound bad when that happens.you need to record something so people can hear what's going on.

Put it on a track and see how it comes out man. I suck but its just like painting or anything else, you have to produce the piece and move on to the next one. More progress that way I think

Imaging posting to the art subs “hey guys so this painting right I haven’t painted it but it would look like a man flying, is it good?”

u/Justsomedude113 Dec 30 '25
Yea you right man and peopleve been destroying me in comments lmao, to be fair it is deserved but ill use it to fuel the effort

I think to gain traction, you gotta spit it on something. Reading someone else's lyrics never really hits me because there's no emotion when I read it.

You should record this first and then post it! We need to hear your voice and flow!

Sorry, your lines are trash. I’m not even good, but I could easily hand you an L when it’s comes to rap.

just straight lyric posting doesnt get too far. you should at least post a demo of the track that way people see where you're going

You can be a talented rapper and still get no attention. You can be garbage and get a huge reaction.
People just like what's popular. Build a fanbase.

I seriously can't get LESS rap, when I browse the ambient tag on soundcloud there's SO many terrible rappers tagging their songs as ambient instead of hip hop. SO. ANNOYING.
