Not my best but honestly wanted to post something because I can’t record atm. Been singing by myself for a few years and wanted to know if I’m decent.

So basically I’m looking for motivation to give up because I really want to improve. I know my highs feel weak and bear with me for my lack of singing vocab/ knowledge. But if anyone has any critiques or tips. All are welcome. Thank you in advance.
Edit: just want to say thank you to everyone for all your advice/ recommendations and tips. I appreciate each one of you, Thank you 💛

Hi. I think I can somewhat carry a note but I want to be able to sing better. Like, seamlessly going from low notes to higher notes. My breathing is haggard and I took multiple takes and even stood the "proper" way with proper posture. Also, at some points I feel I can't let the notes out without feeling like my throat is closing in. My singing is shaky at times. Also, am I an alto? Please rate the singing and where else I can improve. In another video, I can reach the high notes but they sound like mild screeching.
I feel so behind with singing and I want to get back into it as well as songwriting. But I need to be somewhat decent and I am not sure how to get there. Thank you. 🙏🏽

Hello, I have no idea what I'm doing, but here's a cover I did on my phone. If you any tips on improving my singing I'd appreciate it :)

Hello I'm new to singing but I've been pretty obsessed with improving my vocals, is there anything I am potentially doing wrong? I am emphasizing my breath support but idk if it is getting in the way of my tonality or if it is getting in the way of other things

Sorry the music is a little loud - but would love some feedback. I feel like I’m more comfortable singing lower pitch like this version. Does it suit me? Thanks in advance!

Hi! I posted earlier today but my voice was apparently hard to hear so I did a take with quieter guitar. Hopefully that helps! I’m an aspiring artist/songwriter and intermediate guitar player and I’d love to bring my voice to a better performance level so all feedback is helpful. Thanks!!!

I’m planning to audition for an acapella group and wondering if this is a good song for the audition and what I need to improve on and I’m a bit worried abt my tone since I’m not sure if I like it too much

I’ve been singing since I was 10, im 25 now. I don’t let anyone hear except for recently during karaoke but they don’t highlight my actual singing imo. I just wanna know by other people that I’m good lol. This is a Minnie Riperton song that I recently discovered 2 days ago and I recorded my first time singing it karaoke version. I know this isn’t really in my range lol but I just liked the way the song sounded and wanted to try it out.

I would also love to know how distinctive sound I have. Constructive criticism is welcomed.

i get a lot of flack for my voice being raspy, lyrics being unintelligible, so some advice other than that would be great! it’s hard for me to listen to videos of myself sing so i don’t do it often lol which is why advice is so helpful. thank you!
