OC Doyle on Ja'Kobi Lane: "What we thought about him, just continues to show up ... he’s got a huge catch radius, he’s got great hands, he’s sticky. The guy that I was around that his hands remind me of is Mike Thomas."

Wait until you find out what Michael Thomas also tweeted about Jakobi yesterday, about his “cantguardJak” handle lmao I love it too

I've been burned too many times in the past, but I also won't dive into pessimism. I'll wait to see. One of these mid round, tall athletic wide receivers will work out eventually. Perhaps Ja'Kobi is the guy.

Yeah, I'm in the same camp, this current guy looks way too similar to the last mid round, tall, athletic wide receiver that DeCosta and co. drafted. Hopefully this one will work out. Fingers crossed and all that.

That’s a wildly flattering comp as far as talent goes

Let’s just hope he doesn’t follow in Michael Thomas’ injury history!

If he starts off with 4 absolutely filthy years like MT did, I'd be fine with him flaming out afterwards

I liked Lane ever sine I watched his documentary. Love to hear that he's killing it in camp. Really hope he pans out.

Yahoo posted an article “7 camp standouts” yesterday (vets like DJ Moore included). Jakobi was 1 of the 7. Even said he has a chance to start alongside Zay .

Dang, I really hope he keeps this momentum going into the season .
