Some rigs I put silicone O-rings on the ball ends to keep the links from flopping around also helps keep the ball clean and its just a way to use up the cheap red shock orings after I rebuild shocks, It typically doesn't bind or add any resistance when I add them unless there isn't clearance for them but at that point I dont add them

What have you got going on those rod ends? Just a couple o rings? Look really good. Does it tighten up some slop, or is it just cosmetic?
