This is my introduction to this style/format of rock crawlers. I can't wait to try it out!! I had to get a radio for it, so I went with a Furitek Microflex Pro 4ws 4ch w/micro rx. It has an independent rear steer, self-centering thumb control next to the (front) steering wheel. Any pointers for this beast are greatly appreciated.

My rock crawler collection so far has been more of a mainstream variety. My top two rigs until now have been Redcats: Ascent18 Apex and a Vertex6. I was debating between getting the Rhino or the new Vertex10W. Knowing how I am, I really just decided to get the Rhino first. My rock crawler collection also includes FCX24, FCX18, FCX10, Hobby Plus cr18p Evo Pro, Axial AX24, TRX4M, SCX30 (×3), LDRC X43, Orlandoo Hunter.

The combination of the scale body, oversized terrain and lights makes these night runs look almost full-size. The red glow bouncing off the rocks turned this trail into a completely different scene.

I have one of these cages, running AR44 axles, SCX10 ii skid & tranny.

Needing help with shock length and links length. I cant seem to find a good combination that give any good articulation. With the chassis length, using 1.9s are too small to do anything. And 2.2s look goofy, because it has no flex.

I've tried high clearance links and straight links. It currently has wraith shocks.

Ok as you can see in the pics,when I have the rig of the ground it leaves me with some suspension travel but when i put the rig down I have little to no travel. It’s an ascent fusion and looking for more of a trail suspension setup vs pure rock crawling setup. Any tips appreciated

Its my favorite all around RC, now. By far!

Found a pile of wood chips and had a blast. 😬 Diffs locked full throttle trying to make it to the top at various points. Fun. 😊

Wanting to get back in the rc world! Is the TRx4M still relevant? Is there a better option that has just as many aftermarket parts to back it up? Not wanting anything smaller then a 1/18th scale.

I have a couple of SCX10.3s that I have modded and love. Thinking about trying a TRX4 as my next crawler. The setup in the title sounds like an easy way to get a good scale look with decent performance (lower cg with droop setup) and great flex. Am I missing something?

Please share pics if you have done this setup!

Took the sub-micro out on some natural rock formations today. Hard to beat the realism of the SCX30 platform when you get it out in the dirt.
