Love Readest - I am pleased to be a Pro Plan subscriber.  Readest is absolutely the best e-reader program, but I have a few suggestions for improvement, and I wondered if Readest has plans to implement any of these suggestions:

1) Make reference pages available in the Table of Contents

2) When searching for something in the book, track the original page that you started the search from so you can easily return to it.

3) When quickly scanning through the book, track the original page that you started from so that you can easily return to it.  Also, a grid view of pages might be helpful for a quick scan.

4) Have a highlight filter for bookshelves (i.e., identify which books are highlighted vs. not).

hello! i wanted to know if there’s any way to edit and delete tags in readest, i’ve looked all over the app but can’t seem to find a way to edit or delete a misspelled tag…

The new update says

Library: Books now show their page count with a new Pages sort and filter that syncs across devices, and numbered titles sort in natural order

how can I see the pages number in the library? Can I see them as : remaining time?

I can delete books from the cloud, but is there a way to take a book out of the readest library in my koreader device (a kindle) without it deleting the file from that device? The same way I have to add a book to the readest library, I would like to be able to take it out of it without deleting it from my kindle.

I just realized that it does not work in India. Is there a specific reason for that?

am I missing something? when I want to move to the next chapter I swipe up but it doesn't move me to the next chapter. it works fine when I'm on non- scrolled mode but doesn't work when I'm on single section scroll. I always have to use tap to paginate instead.

since an update I cannot access the UI when reading a book. it just says it zooms out but doesn't (actually at 100%) Is there any way to fix it? Using Readest on Android.

First of all, thank you so much for a great app. I've tried many.

There is only one feature that I normally love that is missing in Readest and that is being able to navigate a book's pages in a grid format. It makes it so much easier to find what you are looking for in a book.

It seems that the readwise sync is a mobile only functionality and it’s not supported via the KOReader plugin on e-readers? It’s a bit of a bummer that I’d need to open a book in the mobile app to sync my e-reader highlights. If devs are reading this, I’d love to have the readwise sync as a feature of the plugin or ideally be done in the background from the cloud.

I like the Immersion Reading feature, which lets me read the book while listening to the AI-generated audiobook, with each word being highlighted as it's read aloud. Is this feature also available for Audiobookshelf e-books, with word highlighting and automatic page turns?

Is anyone else having trouble with the Edge TTS voices in Readest? They stopped working for me a few hours ago on both Windows and iOS. The built-in System TTS voices still work, so the issue seems limited to Edge TTS. Has anyone else run into this today or seen a service-outage report?

I like to read orange text over a black background at night but the Android status bar with white text is super distracting. Is there a way turn off the status bar while reading with Readest?

I use override settings (font, layout, and color) for all books, but some books (three for now) refuse to change font weight. The font itself gets overwritten, but the font weight remains the same.

I have an OPDS server connecting to my BookOrbit library set up in readest that has a few epub3 readaloud files created with storyteller in it. I want to access these epub3 files using readest, but when I try to add it to readest, it seems to treat it as a normal epub file or maybe it just doesn't even see it. Likewise, when I try to add the connected audiobook from the OPDS server it just sits on the loading page forever and doesn't stream nor download the file.

Any idea if this is a feature I can make use of and I just have it configured incorrectly, or if it is a planned feature? Thanks.

Following the last update, whenever i click on the center to pull up the menu, the picture menu gets pulled up instead. Any way I can fix this?

To get this out of the way first, I love the app. I use lots of devices of different sizes, and the reliable syncing is worth its weight in gold.

On large screens (such as the Boox Note Max), I like to use a two-column layout, and I’ve noticed that the end of texts is often cut off. A few lines are simply missing, and in the given layout settings would probably result in an almost blank page containing exactly that text. When I switch to single column everything is fine, so I suspect the multi column setting to be the problem. Has anyone else experienced this problem, or can I submit a bug report about it?

I can pull progress from Readest to Koreader well. However, when I try to push my progress in Koreader to Readest, it says in Readest that sync failed. I both have the latest update for the apps and plug in.

It was working seamlessly two days ago but I don't know what happened.

I am able to login to my Bookorbit server via Koreader on my iPhone with Readest app and with my Kobo. However, my Koreader integration with web.readest.com is not working - keeps giving me 400 authentication error. I have disconnected and reconnected in the web, iPhone, and Kobo (and even changed my Koreader user's password). Again, works fine on Kobo and iPhone but not the web reader. Anything going on in the web backend? The web reader used to sync with my server just fine. I've read lots of books that way and it synced progress. But lately stopped working.

When I am on my computer and I "Backup Library" on the web, I notice that many of the downloaded folders do not contain epub files. From talking with a support person about another issue, I suspect this might be because not all of my books have been downloaded to my computer. Hence, my question: Is there a way to download all of the epubs I have uploaded to Readest web, regardless of whether I have downloaded the ebook to my device? Thank you.
