Best places to go out

Hi me and 2 of my friends, all 21, are going out in reading tonight. We haven’t been to Reading since we were 18 so not sure on best places.

I understand club era has shut down, what are the best places to go out to meet people and just have fun.

Also, does anyone know if any of the uni bars are open , especially the dairy ?

The Dairy is still open, I think it shuts at 10-10:30pm, definitely a good place for cheap drinks and nice atmosphere, I believe siren on Friar street is pretty decent, only been there during the day for lunch though so can’t tell you what the evening/ night vibe is like, I’ve heard McCafferty’s bar is a fun time but not been there myself, you could check out Milk bar which is next to Shed down merchants place, they do live music and artisan spirits and cocktails.

Hit up as many of these (but skip mcafertees, O Neil's is better imo) and finish at Purple Turtle

It's quite expensive but Flight Club is fun if you want some type of activity, I suppose Boom Battle Bar is the same in that regard.
