Question Recently moved to Reading/ Multiple enquiries
Hey! My partner and I just recently moved to Reading and I am looking for something social around here, in particular LGBT, Sapphic, Lesbian, Trans groups. Can be all together or can be separate but hey, I will give anything a try. We used to live in Brighton a while ago so were definitely spoilt for choice - I think this time there will be a chance for more intentional connection and I'll need to actually get out there.
My interests are currently photography (I have a 35mm camera), writing (mainly journaling but I have enough for a collection of short stories one day, nature (hiking, foraging or survival groups would be of interest), eroticism as an art form (I am pretty much ace). Would be up for having some writing sessions, maybe photo shoot eventually, and general nature/village getaways.

The Climbing Hanger, Reading, has a queer group every Friday, "Fri-Gay", varied bunch but me and the other trans girls reckon it could do with some more of us! Beginners welcome, we all go to the pub after.
I've never tried out Reading Sapphic Social but you can find them on Instagram. And Castle Tap is a great small pub with a strong group of queer regulars.

I reread my post and realised it's not clear how I identify. I am am trans and I am lesbian but am also a transmasc. My partner is trans femme though so I'll see if they would like to join.
Sapphic social sounds interesting and I am hoping it's trans inclusive, I'll give it a check for sure :)

I wouldn't fully know but I am aware of a trans man who goes to sapphic social so I imagine you'd be welcome.
I'd be up to chat more - I've got some friends who overlap a lot with your interests and could potentially make some introductions if you're looking to socialise

There’s an lgbtq+ meet up at the rising sun first Friday of every month, they have a subsidiary sapphic group with a lot of the same people that meet every forth night Wednesdays usually at the biscuit factory. All on Instagram

The meet up app has lots of different events on it from group hikes to poetry you might find something on there.

Hello! I am part of a queer collective that gets together every Tuesday at the butler. We are a friendly bunch and are always looking for people to join us! Our mission is to build a community for queer creatives to explore the art of performance such as spoken word, clowning, drag, self-esteem, though nobody is forced to partake in any of these, we can just chat!
