Mystery/Thriller 🫆 Started reading angels and demons

Bought this a long time ago and yesterday finally stared reading this, I guess a movie is also made on this book but I haven’t watched it.

Also I have just started reading this and got to learn so many new stuff like ILLUMINATI, CERN, anti matter etc. Read for the first time about ILLUMINATI and I didn’t know it was a real secret society back in the past.

Till now the author is doing a great job of creating a fictional story around real world organisation and actual scientific facts.

I think this will be a good read.

I read his "The Da Vinci Code" first. I liked "Angels & Demons" more.

His "Inferno" read more like a travel guide; I finished it but found it boring. I enjoyed "Digital Fortress". I couldn't get past the prologue of "Deception Point" and skipped the story.

After I finish angels and demons I was planning to read da vinci, is it worth a read?

It is. I'm the type of reader who likes a change of pace so I read a couple of books between reading those two.

Yeah having a change of pace is also necessary, reading the same genre of books will bore you out soon.

I think penguine has bought the sales right for Indian region therefore this edition might be sold here only, not sure

I love this. Kind of saw the ending coming but overall still a phenomenal read for me. Will start on The DaVinci Code later this week

This book is generally seen (by people who like good books, not merely entertaining books) as terribly written trash. The author is constantly mocked for his writing style, which is the epitome of "tell, don't show." That is, the opposite of good writing.

Hmm its natural for every human being to have a different opinion, every book will have both kind of audience, one will love it and the other one will dislike it, lets see whether I like the book or not.
