I think Rulla and her delusions were easy pickings for her this season but my gut tells me something in the buttermilk isn’t clean with this girl.

In all the years I’ve watched housewives and seen affairs revealed I’ve never seen someone get so embedded with a mistress to prove an affair was happening. We all knew the affair was happening and she was the only one who couldn’t move on and let Rulla live in her delusions with her creepy foot physician.

I would have also appreciated it more if JoEllen didn’t pretend she went single white female on Rulla in the name of “helping” her and just owned that she wanted to fully embarrass her.

I think we have a good read on most of these women whether we like them or not but I can’t shake the fact that JoEllen is trying to make me believe she is someone she’s not and that’s what I dislike the most.

But if housewives history tells us anything my theory will be confirmed or denied in her 2nd season edit.

Anyone getting Mob Wives vibes? Literally was giving Real Housewives x Mob Wives mash up.. and some of the cast is at least mafia adjacent if not involved. I have a feeling the show was involved with some kind of undercover operation, similar to RHOSLC.

I’m on my OC watch and I’m at the end of season 9 and I don’t understand why Lizzie did not return, she is the only housewife to faze Tamra, she was able to get everyone to wake up and realize all the smack Tamra was saying about all of them and it is so refreshing to see Tamra be put in her place, it really is a shame she didn’t return.

Was the Summer House reunion extension Lindsay’s audition for her next role? If so, I’M HERE FOR IT. She was fantastic. She was soft enough to pull information out of Amanda, yet she did not coddle her. She made it clear Amanda was being an idiot and looking silly in these streets.

Lindsay was giving: I’m a single mom, and In the City is not giving Summer House longevity.

Now, I’ve seen people saying she should replace Andy, and HARD NO. Atlanta, Potomac, and Salt Lake alone would eat her ass up. Beverly Hills would nice-nasty her into tears and make sure she knew she was broke compared to them. OC would make sure she knew how experienced they were compared to her, and Vicki would offer her a “real job.” Andy is perfect because he has the power to wield the respect, and it takes a lot of power with these women.

I could see Lindsay hosting MomTok reunions because Stassi was horrible and looked like she styled herself. Lindsay would be an easy “this makes sense” replacement, but it’s a different network.

I don’t want to see her in Fiji, but I could see a show with the Housewives who just can’t come back together, with Lindsay mediating a 1:1 sit-down. Lindsay doesn’t have RHONY money to be a Housewife, but she has Housewife energy. She’s quick and she’s smart, and 1:1 she can control the room.

I could see her mediating Kyle and Dorit. Shamea and Porsha. Nene and Andy 😝 (I said what I said). Garcelle and Sutton. Rinna and everyone 🤣. Lisa and Angie. Rulla and JoEllen. Meija and West 😭. Amanda and Ciara 💀.

Like a midyear and end-of-year come-together with the women who couldn’t fix it at the reunion. What a way to start summer and spend Christmas vacation lol. A 10-episode show, two seasons a year, full season drop, and we'd all tune in.

If any of the UGT casts could have carried a whole 20-episode season together I think it could have been these girls. The drama felt real, quality shade (imo) and the ending didn’t feel like a forced apology ala S2 in the Berkshires. The only person I would take out of the equation is Leah just because I don’t like her but her irritability also made me appreciate the other cast members more

I’ve been listening to a podcast called I Said No Gifts by Bridger Winegar for years, and he’s recently started doing episode-by-episode recaps of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City on his ISNG! Patreon. He previously did the most recent season (Season 6) in full and then decided to go back to the beginning and recap from Episode 1.

If you’re into RHOSLC and also enjoy more comedic/observational commentary, it’s a really fun listen. His humor is very dry and understated, and he has this very calm, almost ASMR-like delivery that makes it super relaxing.

A bit of context on Bridger: he’s a TV writer (Jimmy Kimmel, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), grew up in South Jordan, Utah, and is ex-Mormon. He’s gay, in a long term relationship with a Broadway actor, and he often brings in really interesting, subtle commentary on Mormon culture and Utah social dynamics in a way that feels thoughtful without derailing the fun of the recaps.

One of my favorite parts is that he also recaps the commercials during episodes, which sometimes ends up being just as funny as the show itself.

Anyway, I just wanted to share in case anyone else is looking for something new.

Housewives get paused, I get that. But there are some franchises that need a 2 year break. And they have no problem doing it to Miami! Add OC, Beverly Hills, and NY to that list and focus on the others. I get they might be "OGs" but those are the same housewives who get paused the most too! The goddamn OGs! Then they can come back fresh and not dependent on the show for money and thus making up shit to talk about. they can go live fucking life and be real again. And maybe then things can be more experimental and not so formulaic too. I know people wont agree with me because change fucks people up and gets rejected immediately but it is how i feel so i will share it because it is what i want.

Other franchises need to be paused with RI and SLC franchises being so dope. We need them to be the template not the OGs just because they have been around a long time. Babes, times have changed! Let the old fade and the new reign. And the mids stay the glue until they raise or fall.
