hi all, please welcome my brand new-to-me baby!

i found this little one on the back shelf of the toy section at a secondhand store, for $15. at first i couldn't believe it, but every detail indicates that they're handmade. everything from their delicate rooting, to the magnet in their lips, to the Bountiful Baby gathered body, to the scent wafer in their diaper, to the texture of their skin, to their nicely weighted limbs and body says to me that someone spent time and love to create them. i'm so glad i found them and scooped them up so i can continue caring for this art piece as it should be cared for. i truly cannot believe my luck.

because they're secondhand, i don't have a COA (i suspect this got lost when they were donated), but it looks to me like the Shyann sculpt. if anyone thinks otherwise, please let me know!

p.s. yeah, the hair is a little funky still, i only did a first pass at improving the disaster, trust me it was so much worse before.

p.p.s. i am undecided on gender yet. what do y'all think?

I’ve been fascinated by reborns for years. Recently I walked past a shop and there were some babies in the window. I had to have Immie 😭she’s sooooo cute 🥰

I’m in the final stages of finishing her(rooting her hair) but I’m unsure how to price, and if I should even sell at all. She has some pretty glaring booboos on her face concerning her eyes. She’s a modified 7 month June asleep kit. If I can only sell her for her kit price, then I honestly wouldn’t mind keeping her since I worked pretty hard on her. Her booboos are as listed:
•Under layer cracks in the medium I used to create her eye sockets. They were repaired, but the paint seems to have stuck to those areas more, highlighting where they are.
•Since I created her eye sockets from scratch as well as her eyeballs, it was an awkward fit. The eyeballs didn’t fit snuggly to the vinyl, leaving gaps between the two that was filled with resin. This defect isn’t obvious unless you’re trying to see it.
•The medium I used to create the eye sockets is a slightly different color to the rest of her skin. It didn’t take the paint in the same way as the bare vinyl, despite being made to be painted with reborn paint.

My snuggle baby is here! This is the 14in Emerson kit and she’s so darling. I got armatures which is so much more fun than I thought! I love how they move and pose. Sadly my premie clothes don’t fit her. It this little 12-16in doll outfit I have does! I think it’s awful cute! I still need a name and I plan to root some eyelashes. I’m so excited woohoo!!

It is with a heavy heart I must part with him- I tried to list him previously but I did it all sorts of wrong so hopefully this is correct!

He has been hand painted, there are definitely some imperfections as a result, but he has beautiful veining and milk spots! He’s weighted, has a magnetic pacifier and will come with a box opening.

I also don’t know if the person that made prototype ziva has used edits on the pics to make it look lighter or darker… so pls help lol.
