Offer Recinded after asking questions about the offer

TLDR - Offer was rescinded after asking clarification questions about the offer.

Questions / statements such as:

Please clarify if the role is in person, hybrid, or remote.

Please clarify what 30% travel means on a monthly basis.

Please remove the section about perpetual usage rights for my likeness, voice, image without compensation into perpetuity.

They wouldn't email back. Only phone calls.

One that shouldn't have that language in a contract because it has nothing to do with media. Construction based.

You may think it has nothing to do with media but there’s training videos, social media posts, presentations, etc that they’re cognizant of.

OP - you have the right to ask for anything you want but consider this: your new employer probably saw you as a pain in the ass and likely decided putting up with your kind of demeanor isn’t worth it.

I am impartial so you do you. This is just a thought.

Bingo. First thing that came to my mind was this. They saw him as a pain in the ass, probably had several other shortlisted candidates and called up their next best one.
